MY REVIEW :

This book talks abruptly what we need to understand in order to live our life our way to the fullest.

Mark probably could grasp the attention of the lot with his writing style which is frank, outburst of the facts. In a way this deducts all the flowery words and preaches  an advise like how our parents slap the truth on our faces. Chap! just like that.

Those people whose opinions we cared about so much before are no longer present in our lives. Rejections that were painful in the moment have actually worked out for the best.

Essentially, we become more selective about the fucks we’re willing to give. This is something called maturity.

This is not an easy one to let go because sometimes that annoying aunty’s pester could really test the volcano outta us. But over the time I’ve learned how to actually give less or zero fucks to what annoys me instead of controlling my temper and faking all the sweet smiles. Smiling all wide in front of your enemy will actually burn him/her alive- metaphorically.

If you’ve got a problem, chances are millions of other people have had it in the past, have it now, and are going to have it in the future.

Ever sank in thoughts of self pity? Thinking why should this happen to me only? Why am I so unlucky? etc etc. I’m sure we all had or having it now. It’s just human nature to get into self-absorption mode every now and then but it all lies in how we tackle the situation when the lemons hit us (hard sometimes). Truth is we are not alone facing this. People just learn to accept.

This book was given to me as a gift from a dear friend Alia, came to me at a right time. I would recommend anyone who needs an uplift mentally.
